Author Guidelines

Manuscript Criteria:

The Caspian Journal of Case Reports considers original single and series case reports across all clinical disciplines. Submitted manuscripts should be original and unpublished, both in print and electronic form, and not under consideration by any other publication or electronic medium. Authors are encouraged to submit any closely related manuscripts along with the submission to the Editor. Duplicate submissions on related aspects of the same study are discouraged.

Ethical Approval:

Authors must provide documentation of ethical approval from their institution's Institutional Review Board (IRB), independent ethics committee (IEC), or equivalent, for studies involving human subjects, animals, or related specimens. If the ethical approval is not in English, authors must provide both the original and translated copies, signed by a certified translator. This documentation should be uploaded along with the submission files.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Case Reports

The Medical Case Reports section of the Caspian Journal of Case Reports (CJSR) aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of high-quality, clinically relevant case reports across all medical specialties. This section welcomes submissions that contribute novel insights, highlight diagnostic challenges, present innovative treatment strategies, or showcase rare diseases and conditions.

  5. Authors affirm that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been previously published (in whole or in part), and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  6. Authors agree to properly attribute the Caspian Journal of Case Reports as the original source of publication and provide a link to the journal's website for readers to access the work under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

  7. Authors acknowledge that failure to comply with these terms may result in the rejection of their submission or withdrawal of published work from the journal.
